Doppler Effect

The Doppler Effect occurs when a listener is changing position relative to a source, causing the perceived frequency to be different. A classic example is cars driving past you.

Press and hold your left mouse button as you drag the cursor across the screen. The cursor acts as a source and sends out pulses in all directions.
